Find the quotes you need to support your essay, or refresh your memory of.

Everyone has seen honey bees flitting from flower to flower, but many people know very little about these fascinating little creatures. I’ve compiled a list of 20 questions that you may have about answers will help explain phrases like “busy as a bee” and “hive mentality” and will demonstrate the importance of bees to the Earth’s ecosystem. After nectar is carried into the hive, the bees evaporate most of the water from it. While evaporating the water, they change the nectar into honey. As it is pro- duced, it hardens into tiny wax scales.

The book contains an extensive reference section, an author index, and a subject index for those you want to follow through with more reading. I don’t recommend this for your first bee biology book, but it is a great resource for those wanting an in-depth understanding of how bees work. The Buzz about Bees: Biology of a Superorganism.   Unfortunately, some of these people do not want to have a discussion about the facts-of-life of bee management, or the results of scientific research. Instead, they want to put bees into a container and let the bees keep themselves. These bees cannot be fed, as feeding bees is an act against Nature. These people will not use smoke on the bees.
